Three new faces, one new film
Karan Johar is back to his old antics, a college full of handsome guys, mini skirt girls, lots of music and dance and mix of friendship, love & rivalry. The only new aspect of the film- there is no SRK in the film.
'Student of the Year' marks the debut of three youngsters, out of them two are Bollywood kids.
Aaliya Bhatt
Cute faced Aaliya is second daughter of Mahesh Bhatt. Before taking the plunge into acting as a lead, Aaliya has s acted as a child artist in the film Sangharsh (1999), starring Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta. She played the younger Zinta in the film
Varun Dhawan
Fresh face, sharp eyed Varun is son of Comedy King David Dhawan. Varun left his management studies, and jumped into Bollywood for his first love... Movies. Varun also started his Bollywood stint as Assistant to Karan in MNIK.
Siddharth Malhotra
Young, vibrant Siddharth is the third debutant of 'Student of the Year'. He although, is not connected to any filmy family, but has been around in the glam circuit. A successful model Siddharth, has also acted in TV Series Prithviraj Chauhan as a chil artist.
