Bolt wins 100m Gold with a new Olympic record
The Jamaican Lightning took just 9.63 seconds to conquer the finish line, and bettered the Olympic record of 9.69 seconds, set by him in Beijing 2008. Bolt started bit sluggishly, in the race, where champion sprinters with likes of Tyson Gay, Yohan Blake and Justin Gatlin where in fray.
Half way past Blake was leading with Gatlin closing in... but like a lightning Blake zoomed from behind and got away. Yohan Blake came second with 9.75 seconds, and Justin Gatlin clocked 9.79 seconds for bronze.
